Victoria Conference Centre

The Victoria Conference Centre, 720 Douglas Street, is attached to the grand dame of Victorian architecture, The Empress Hotel. The Centre is a terrific modern facility with a very open feeling and lots of superb First Nations art.  The Lecture Theatre is a gently pitched auditorium with 400 comfortable seats; we also have four other rooms for paper presentations, with capacities of around 200 each, plus a large open area for poster sessions.

The Conference Centre is within sight of the Royal British Columbia Museum of Natural History, the Parliament building, and scores of shops, restaurants, bars, etc.  Beacon Hill Park (including extensive gardens, walkways, water features, wildlife, and a charming little petting zoo) is within easy walking distance.
